The Botswana national football team are currently ranked 145^th in the world according to FIFA. Coached by Didier Gomes Da Rosa, ‘The Zebras’ began their 2025 CAF Africa Cup of Nations qualifying group stage with a slender 1-0 defeat to Mauritania the other day. They now face an Egyptian side that, under the management of Hossem Hassan, have been impressive thus far and the Pharaohs managed a strong 3-0 hammering of Cabo Verde the other day. The north Africans will try and get on the front foot against Botswana once again and, with the form of Mohamed Salah, another comfortable Egypt win seems quite likely.
