PREDICTION
Liberia are currently ranked 142nd in the world by FIFA under the management of former Malawi boss Mario Marinica. The Lone Stars began their 2025 CAF Africa Cup of Nations campaign with a 1-1 draw against Togo in which they managed to equalise deep into second-half stoppage-time. They now face an Algerian side that, in terms of personnel, are among the strongest on the continent and that was shown with a comfortable 2-0 defeat of Equatorial Guinea the other day with strikes from Houssem Aouar and Amine Gouiri. A comfortable Algerian win is once again expected for this one.
