Southampton have the second highest average possession in the Premier League this season but their ability to be caught out at the back if also second to none, leading directly to three goals conceded already this season with the other two coming from set-pieces, too. The Saints welcome a Manchester United side that have been as poor as they were last year, despite what some may believe. The Red Devils needed a late winner against Fulham before defeats to Brighton and Hove Albion and Liverpool. That said, they must surely have enough to see off newly-promoted Southampton and calm the pressure down on manager Erik ten Hag.
