2023-24 saw 13-time Kenyan Premier League champions Tusker finish runners-up to Gor Mahia for a second consecutive season and they will be determined to go one better this time around. Fortunately for them, they open against one of the weaker teams in the division. Sofapaka survived relegation by winning a play-off towards the end of last season, but their squad looks relatively weak once more as we head towards the start of the new campaign. Tusker should win this comfortably.
